TO ITALY AT ALMA ORTOLAN STUDIO
The
Studio is committed to the development and presentation of
inspiring and highly educational programs, to incorporating
current scientific knowledge and aesthetic concepts with
insightful and informative exhibitions, performances and
experiences.
After several years of educational and job experience in many
countries, Alma Ortolan began to explore the idea of creating a
small institution to celebrate the arts. Ortolan Studio brings
together, in a fabulous medieval Palazzo, with exceptional
technical expertise and depth of experience in painting, interior
decoration and art conservation, local, national, international
professional and general audiences, youth and seniors, devoted to
the study, preservation and restoration of our cultural heritage.
ART
CONSERVATION
Alma
Ortolan Studio is a company established in 1992 that
specializes in the conservation and restoration of paintings and
monuments. Our conservators are academically trained and they are
providing professional conservation services in many fields such
as easel and fresco paintings, architectural façades and stones.
WORKSHOP ON FRESCO PAINTING
TECHNIQUES AND TECHNOLOGIES
Alma
Ortolan Studio promotes a unique program for those who want
to expand their knowledge about Venetian Art of Fresco Painting
and Conservation, while having a Wonderful Italian Experience. The
aim of Alma Ortolan Studio is to stimulate and motivate the
participant to look beyond the mere theory of Fresco, giving the
chance to be creative while applying traditional techniques. The
program has been created to take advantage of the natural
landscape that the Region of Veneto offers, as well as of the
multitude of historical buildings with Fresco paintings from the
Romanesque, the Renaissance and the Baroque period.
