MARTIN
RANDALL TRAVEL aims to provide the best planned, best led and
altogether the most enjoyable cultural tours available. Here are some
of the features which distinguish our tours.
Meticulous planning and
special arrangements
The planning of every tour involves thorough research and meticulous
attention to detail. Special arrangements with places not normally
accessible are a feature of many tours.
First-rate lecturers
All our tours are accompanied by expert lecturers — art historians,
archaeologists, musicologists, historians — selected for their
scholarship, communication skills and companionability. Their brief is
to enlighten and stimulate, not merely to inform, and to appeal both to
the well-informed and the less knowledgeable.
Travelling in comfort
The hotels we use are usually rated as 4-star, with a few being
3-star or 5-star. Location, comfort, character and quality of service
determine our selection. On many tours the quality of cuisine is high.
We use only scheduled flights.
Small groups
The average number of participants on a tour is around 15 or 16. The
maximum on most is 22, but some have a lower limit. The Rhine Valley,
Austro-Hungarian and Rome Music Festivals are exceptions, with
capacities of 110, 150 and 300.
Care for our clients
We aim for faultless administration from your first encounter with
us to the end of the tour, with personal service as a hallmark. And if
anything does go wrong, we will put it right or compensate
appropriately. We want you to come back again and again — as most of our
clients do.
Background information
For every tour we provide lists of suggested reading, pages of
historical background, information about the destination and detailed
itineraries.
Value for money
The price covers nearly everything, including tips and drinks with
meals.
Who are our clients?
Participants frequently cite agreeable travelling companions as a
reason for continuing to travel with us.
Financial security
In the unlikely event of the company failing, our clients' money
would be fully protected by bonds deposited with third parties and
supervised by the Civil Aviation Authority and the AITO Trust.
