"It was the most delightful of all the ten tours we have taken in the last five years.

Visit Our Web Site——— OPA TOURS GREECE is a team. We are Joyce Helfand - an American art educator and tour coordinator, and Nanda Kontopoulos - a Greek archaeologist and tour manager.

——— Together we create, coordinate and escort each tour. We adore Greece and we know almost all there is to know about it. But above all we love sharing this remarkable country with others.

In addition to the 'must see' sights on any tour, we include many other important and unique points of interest that are seldom offered by other companies.
We take care of all the details from baggage handling to gratuities to hotel staff, waiters and porters.
Each tour is organized yet flexible, educational yet fun and above all personal.
We do only Greece...no wonder we do it better!

——— Naturally each tour is different but you will not find another tour to Greece of this quality at anywhere near our prices!
And because we realize that many people are single travelers, our single supplement rate is much lower than those charged by other companies.

Visit Our Web Site——— Quite simply. We are not a huge company so our prices are low. We don't undertake large advertising campaigns; most of those who travel with us have heard about OPA TOURS GREECE from people on previous tours or have read about us in magazines and newspapers where we have been recommended by travel writers and fellow travelers.
We don't give you a lot of unnecessary and costly "extras" such as multi-paged color brochures, plastic flight bags, etc. What we do give you, several weeks before your vacation is a specially prepared booklet about Greece and the specific places we will be visiting. It has information about everything from the general periods in Greek art to the current drachma-dollar exchange rate. It contains all sorts of interesting information that you will want to read before the tour and bring with you as a reference.

———  Usually never more than 20 people. We believe this is an ideal size group, not too large but large enough to find compatible traveling companions, and often as not, good friends long after the trip is over.

——— We sure do. Since 1984 all our arrangements in Greece have been made through Universal Travel Agency, Athens, Greece, an established and respected company, which has been providing travel services for over 25 years and is a member of the Hellenic Association of Tourism and Travel Agents (HATTA). In addition to having been acknowledged as one of the best tour companies in Greece, OPA TOURS GREECE has been included in the travel guide "Smart Vacations: The Travelers Guide to Learning Adventures Abroad", published by the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE). Of course personal testimony is the best reference and we will be happy to furnish names, addresses and even telephone numbers of people who have traveled with us. You are welcome to contact them personally.
