| In 12
days you will visit some of Provence's most spectacular sites and
monuments, but also its human and intimate side by meeting local
people in their own environment.
You will stay in an elegant hotel
where you will feel that you are staying at a friend's chateau.
From there we shall take day trips to visit vineyards and wine
makers, colorful local markets where we shall buy the freshest
produce, goat cheeses and poultry from the farmers who produced
them and take them to the hotel, prepare them and enjoy a true
Provencal meal.
We shall visit the flat marshland
expanse of the Camargue with its wild fauna and strong identity,
deep valleys with spectacular vistas, a 12th century monastery,
spectacular castles, Roman monuments, quaint villages and towns
with beautiful shops selling delicious chocolates, beautiful
fabrics and Provencal designs. You will also have enough time to
enjoy people watching, sipping a pastis and share in the Provencal
life style.
Please find below a detailed
description of the itinerary.
The tour will be very intimate—15
participants maximum. It is organized and guided by Emmanuel Roux,
a Frenchman living in St Petersburg Florida. He is intimately
familiar with his country and Provence in particular spending all
his holidays there. He will share with you the culture of the
area, explain its character by pointing out details that will
illustrate the unique characteristics of Provence as well as
answer questions on wine , food, the history and the economy of
the area.
We hope to hear from you soon.
