 Robert
(Bob) Reynolds, WWII pilot, founded Valor Tours, Ltd. more than 28
years ago to be a resource for veterans, their families,
military service organizations, unit associations, reunion
groups, historical societies and government institutions with
an interest in the Pacific and Europe wartime theaters.
Bob's in-depth knowledge of the Pacific Theatre battle zone
infrastructure, has been recognized by Clipper Odyssey Cruises,
who invited Bob to their head offices to help them plan WWII Pacific
Theatre theme expeditions up to 2014!
Very soon you will see some announcements of our long-awaited small ship
expeditions to all the Philippine battle sites, followed by
expeditions to Efate, Espiritu Santo, Manus, Seadler Harbor, New
Caledonia and others. Bob predicted long ago that the most popular
cruise itineraries in the Pacific would include WWII battle sites. That
dream is now coming true. Our long-practiced policy of only taking
groups to places with which our escorts are thoroughly familiar is now
bearing fruit. In 2005 we enjoyed two groups comprised 100% of
repeaters!
We got 2006 off to a blazing start with the unveiling of the Hell
Ships Memorial in Subic Bay, Philippines, a tour that included
Corregidor, Bataan, Subic Bay, Clark Field and Cabanatuan. An
extension to Taiwan included the dedication of an American POW
cemetery. From there, survivors of abominable treatment went to the
sites of virtual slave labor camps in Japan.
